Square coupons with a black QR code on a white background and a thick, rounded red border emerge from the customer’s Dealstore pouch. They are validated at checkout or with the retailer’s Scan App. The customer receives their discount, while the coupon’s original placement remains identified. The currency symbols represent the savings made.

Inform your decisionsDEALSTORE ON VIDEO
One promotion, one tag per placement, and a coupon presented in store. See how Dealstore helps you identify where your sales come from.
Every year, more than a trillion euros is invested in advertising worldwide. That is an enormous amount.
But how much of it actually drives sales?
That money could help you improve your store, upgrade your website or fund a new service… Perhaps even hire new staff.
Today, Dealstore helps you see more clearly. Independent retailer, franchisee, retail chain or major brand: the principle is the same.
One promotion. And a different Dealstore tracking tag for each advertising placement. For example: a YouTube video, a location-targeted banner, an ad in your local press or a magazine, a flyer, a Facebook or Instagram post, or your email campaign.
You create your tracking tags in just a few minutes. Each QR code or link keeps track of where the coupon came from. The promotion stays the same.
Your customer scans or clicks on your ad, then saves the offer to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
In store, the customer shows you the coupon. You check it with the Dealstore Scan App, then confirm its use.
That confirmation links the redeemed coupon to its original advertising placement. You can compare results by media type, by placement and, if you have several stores, by store.
Should you expand your email campaigns? Increase your digital budget? Advertise in the local press? Or hand out more flyers in your neighbourhood? You finally have concrete results to guide your decisions.
The goal: cut spending on advertising that delivers little and redirect your budget. That gives you more resources to grow your business.
With Dealstore. What if your sales could finally tell you where they came from?
THE WANAMAKER DILEMMA
“Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted; the trouble is I don’t know which half.”
Quotation attributed to John Wanamaker
Your next investment deserves more than a hunch. Start with something concrete: where was the coupon redeemed in store originally picked up?

Creatives + couponsUse the same promotion across your placements. Each gets its own Dealstore tag: a placement-specific QR code or link that preserves the coupon’s origin.
One tag per placementThe customer presents their coupon in store. The retailer validates it with the Scan App, marking it as used. This is the coupon’s “burn” step.

You don’t need a big media plan to get started. Begin with the placements you already use. Then broaden your view.
An offer in store, a neighbourhood flyer, a social media post: three ways to pick up the same coupon. With a tag per placement, you can identify the origin of validated redemptions.

The promotion brings the customer in. The Scan App lets your team check the coupon and confirm its redemption. The link to the media placement stays intact.
Receive the installation link for your phone. Sign in with your team’s access and select an authorised store. For franchisees, redemptions are linked to the correct location.
The customer opens their coupon in their Wallet. Use the Scan App to read the QR code on that personal coupon. The app checks its validity and eligibility for your store.
Check the products and offer conditions, then confirm redemption in the app. A coupon already used is rejected. A check alone does not count as a validated redemption.
Once the redemption is recorded and synchronised, it feeds into the campaign results. The coupon’s origin remains identifiable: flyer, shop window, web or another tagged placement.

Simulation: €50 per tag per placement. The cost excludes media, the promotion and other fees; it is neither a full acquisition cost nor an ROI.
In practice, updates depend on connectivity, synchronisation and the validation system used. This demo does not guarantee a fixed update delay.
It identifies the origin of coupons whose redemption has been validated and reported. It excludes purchases without coupons and data not received. One redemption does not necessarily equal one transaction or one product. On its own, it does not prove that the purchase would not have happened without advertising. The figures above are fictional and are not a forecast.

THE RIGHT QUESTIONS
Useful results start with a clear definition.
Click ‘Get the Scan App’. Tell us your store and phone: we’ll guide you to the appropriate installation link and set up authorised access for your team. Downloading alone does not give access to a store.
Recorded and synchronised redemptions feed results by campaign and placement. Availability depends on your access rights and the validation system. The demo above illustrates these updates with fictional data.
It is an identifier linked to a campaign and a specific media placement. The pouch makes the offer visible; the tag preserves the coupon’s origin and connects validated redemptions to that placement.
You can keep your strategy, agency and media placements. The setup is prepared around compatible placements and the validation systems available for your campaign.
Yes. The setup can match your placements: a flyer, shop window, email or social media post. A first campaign can start with just a few tags. The in-store validation process is defined before launch.
Measurement covers coupons whose redemption is validated, reported and linked to a tag. It does not automatically include purchases without coupons. A scan, an offer view or a wallet save is not a sale.
The tag documents the origin of the redeemed coupon. Estimating additional sales caused by a campaign requires a separate incrementality study. The two approaches can complement each other.
No. It is the unit price of the tag. Media buying, the consumer benefit and any other fees are separate. Volume purchases are subject to agreed terms.
A tag lasts for a maximum of 30 days. If your campaign runs longer, we work with you to plan the periods and tags needed. Coupon terms and access to results are specified for the campaign.
If you create the campaign, you purchase the requested tags. If you want to view results for your placements in a campaign created by someone else, purchasing the relevant tags is optional, but required for that access.
